Handwoven in Morocco · Natural Wool · Made to Order
Light doesn’t fall evenly across a room — it pools, gathers, gains weight in certain corners while leaving others in shadow. Solarium works the same way, its saffron-yellow blocks catching and holding warmth across the runner’s length, dense in some sections, more sparse in others.
The blocks stagger irregularly, wide rectangles beside narrow ones, some nearly square, laid in a loose brick logic that never quite repeats. Thin channels of undyed wool separate each piece, letting the pale ground read almost like light breaking through — mortar lines in a wall built entirely of gathered warmth.
Hand-knotted by Berber artisans in the Atlas Mountains from 100% natural wool, Solarium holds its saturated mustard-yellow with real depth, the tone shifting subtly from block to block the way natural dye lots do. The pile 1.25” average sits high and plush, dense enough to hold its color even in a long hallway’s low light, finished with fringe at both ends.
It carries its own light down the length of a room.
Each rug is woven by hand, then washed and dried in the Atlas mountain air.
