Handwoven in Morocco · Natural Wool · Made to Order
A composition shaped by time.
Handwoven in Morocco from 100% natural wool, Formation draws inspiration from the quiet processes that shape landscapes over centuries. Layer upon layer, raised wool textures emerge across a soft natural base, creating a sculptural composition that feels both organic and architectural.
The design evokes weathered stone, sedimentary formations, and earth shaped by wind and time. Its irregular relief pattern introduces depth, movement, and visual rhythm while maintaining a calm, tonal palette that integrates effortlessly into contemporary interiors.
The contrast between the plush olive-green pile and the exposed flatwoven foundation creates a rich tactile experience, inviting both visual exploration and touch. From a distance, the rug appears understated and serene. Up close, its intricate handwoven construction reveals a landscape of texture and craftsmanship.
Every piece is woven entirely by hand by skilled artisans in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains using natural wool, preserving the character, irregularities, and authenticity that make handmade rugs so distinctive.
Whether placed in a living room, bedroom, hospitality project, or design-led commercial space, Formation brings warmth, depth, and quiet sophistication to its surroundings.

Materials & Craftsmanship
Each Formation rug is individually handwoven by artisans in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The sculptural relief is created through variations in pile height and weaving density, requiring exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Because every piece is handmade, slight variations in texture, dimensions, and finish are part of its character and should be celebrated as a mark of authenticity.
Each rug is woven by hand, then washed and dried in the Atlas mountain air.
